As of the 2023 competition, the administration of the Killam Program has transferred from the Canada Council for the Arts to the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada.

Through this new collaboration initiated by the Killam Trustees, the Killam Program will continue to support innovative research while recognizing and celebrating top thought leaders in Canada.
